Javier Criado is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Informatics, University of Almería (Spain). In 2009, he joined the Applied Computing Group (TIC-211), a research group in Computer Science from the University of Almería. Since then, he has participated in four national research projects (refs. TIN2007-61497, TIN2010-15588, TIN2013-41576-R and TIN2017-83964-R) and a regional research project (ref. P10-TIC6114). From 2011-2015, he was supported by an FPU grant (ref. AP2010-3259). He received his PhD (2015) in Computer Science from the University of Almería. His research interests include: Model-Driven Engineering, Component-Based Software Engineering, Model Transformations, Mashups, Model-Driven Development for Advanced User Interfaces, COTS components, Trading, Ontology-Driven Engineering, UML design, Internet of Things and the Web of Things.
