TDTrader: A methodology for the interoperability of DTT-Web services based on MHP-COTS software components, repositories and trading models.
One of the main aims of a modern knowledge society is to be able for adapting to the new demands of marketplace in time, space and form. Due to political, social and economic reasons that sublie about the Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) industry, the administrations, companies and organizations have collaborated for the emission of interactive services across the DTT. The consecration of standards about this industry —as the adoption of MHP (Multimedia Home Platform) as standard to develop interactive services (i.e., software components) in DTT— will shortly produce a new marketplace of software components where there are not yet a real methodology of development and interaction with the rest of the traditional Internet software components. The component-based (and service-based) software engineering partly solves the "interoperability" by means of mechanisms of mediation (traders) for COTS components (commercial components). In the present project we try to generate knowledge to extend traditional trading models for MHP components: DTT interactive services. As a result, the project expects to generate a methodology and a set of tools for the deployment of a trading service and repositories of DTT services in the company Ingenieros Alborada, S.L., which tries to create a marketplace of DTT services (software components for DTT).
