I Jornadas de Seguimiento y Transferencia de Investigación Soleres
18th and 19th December 2008, Almeria, Spain
On December 18 and 19, 2008, the first follow-up meeting of the R&D project (ref. TIN2007-61497) -SOLERES: A spatio-temporal information system for environmental management based on neural networks, agents and software components- of the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation took place.
The research team of this project is an interdisciplinary team composed of 17 people, 12 of them PhD, and engineers and graduates in computer science, biology, ecology and physics. The team includes 6 external researchers from the Instituto Per I Sistemi Agricoli e Forestali del Mediterraneo ISADoM (Italy), from the Department of Scientific and Technological Research of the University of Mendoza (Argentina), and also from the Department of Ecology of the Complutense University of Madrid.
On the other hand, in the team collaborate 4 Technological Observer Members (known as EPOs) who signed a collaboration agreement in the application of the above mentioned project. These four observers are: EGMASA (Junta de Andalucia), CTAP, URCI and Fundacion Mediterranea. The activities assigned to these EPOs in the project are participation in annual follow-up meetings and the subsequent issuance of a follow-up report for their interest in transferring knowledge results.
