III Jornada de Seguimiento y Transferencia de Investigacion SOLERES

February 24th, 2011, Almeria

On February 24th, 2011, the third research monitoring and transfer meeting of the SOLERES project, funded by the Ministry of Innovation and Science (MICINN), will take place.

This meeting is framed as a planned activity within the MICINN projects TIN2007-61497 and TIN2010-15588, and aims to disseminate research advances in topics such as:

  • ontology-driven engineering,
  • model-driven software development,
  • evolutionary models, and
  • soft computing.

The research team participating in the meeting is an interdisciplinary team, composed of 17 people, 12 of them PhDs, and engineers and graduates in computer science, biology, ecology and physics. The team includes 6 external researchers from the Delft University of Technology (The Netherlands), from the Universidad Tecnologica Nacional, Facultad Regional (Argentina), and also from the Ecology Department of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid.

On the other hand, in the team collaborate 5 Technological Observer Members (known as EPOs) who signed a collaboration agreement in the application of the mentioned project. These five observers are: EGMASA (Junta de Andalucia), CTAP, URCI Fundacion Mediterranea and Ingenieros Alborada IDI, S.L. The activities assigned to these EPOs in the project are participation in annual follow-up meetings and the subsequent issuance of a follow-up report for their interest in knowledge transfer of results.
